Meet Dogs for Adoption and Find Your New Best Friend!
At Gals Best Pal, we specialize in love at first sight.
We believe every dog deserves a second chance. We work alongside dedicated volunteers, fosters, and rescue partners to help dogs in needβfrom Houston, Texas, to right here in our own backyard in Massachusetts.
Whether theyβre facing homelessness, neglect, abuse, or the risk of euthanasia, weβre here to give them a way forward. From playful puppies to loving adults, big dogs to little ones, we have dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities waiting to find their people. Through rescue, fostering, adoption, and spay/neuter programs, we help dogs heal, find their people, and begin the happy, loving lives they deserve.
Because every dog deserves a best pal.
βWe had an incredible adoption through Gals Best Pal. Our adoption coordinator Jessica, was amazing. The adoption process was very easy and super quick. We couldnβt be more in love with our Leo!β
Our Mission
The Gals Best Pal Rescue Mission is to be a voice for the voiceless as it advocates for the dogs in its care while finding them safe, suitable, caring homes. The organization works with likeminded partners across the country and throughout the state of Massachusetts to rescue unwanted animals experiencing neglect, abuse, homelessness or at risk of euthanasia. The rescue also strives to make a difference for many unwanted dogs from different unfortunate situations. It does this by providing nurturing foster homes, promoting the importance of responsible dog ownership and, most importantly, spaying and neutering every dog that comes through the rescue as it aims to cut back on the overpopulation crisis occurring in many shelters and rescues across the nation.

Our Journey
Gals Best Pal started when a group of dog-loving people met through rescue and realized we all wanted the same thing: to help more dogs and make a difference.
What started with fostering, volunteering and helping local dogs find homes quickly grew into so much more. We began helping harder-to-place dogs, taking in local surrenders and working with rescue partners across the country to save dogs who simply needed someone to give them a chance.
Today, Gals Best Pal is a volunteer-run nonprofit powered by an incredible community of fosters, adopters, volunteers, supporters and rescue partners who all play a part in what we do.
For us, rescue has never been about simply getting a dog from one place to another. Itβs about giving each dog what they need along the way, whether thatβs medical care, time to decompress, training, patience or just a safe place to land while we work to find the right home.
Some of our dogs are facing euthanasia. Some are local dogs who can no longer stay in their homes. Others have been neglected, homeless or just need a fresh start. However they find their way to us, the goal is always the same: give them the chance to find their way home.
What began with a few people wanting to help has grown into a pretty amazing community of people who show up for these dogs every single day. And that really is what Gals Best Pal is all about.
βWe have Gals Best Pal to thank for our wonderful dog, Mirabel. The process to adopt was thorough, but at no point did it feel overwhelming. We had multiple conversations with our matchmaker before and after adoption. I cannot recommend this organization enough.β
